John Abbott is well known for his watercolour paintings of the Fenland Washes where the wide skies and watery reflections provide endless inspiration. He is equally at home painting the old buildings in his home town. Watercolour is the medium he usually works in but he is equally happy painting in oils or acrylic.

He specialises in transport themes and his commissions have included a painting for the East Lancashire Coachbuilders. Angela Conway studied drawing and painting at St Martins School of Art. She likes to draw and paint images of landscapes, skyscapes, portraiture and animals. She is also inspired by impressionism.

Chris Davis has been painting all her life and enjoys watercolour. In the 70's she was one of two women in Scotland chosen to exhibit at the Royal Festival Hall in London, following on from which she appeared on Border Television. She was a head teacher for 10 years and has taught adult evening classes in collage. She is a member of several local art societies and regularly exhibits.
